Congratulations to Maja Bachmann for passing her viva exam!

On Monday, Maja – Philip’s first PhD student – successfully completed her viva examination at St. Andrews thereby marking the end of her PhD. One of the traditions of St. Andrews after a successful viva is to be thrown into a lake. Pictured here, Maja and Veronika Sunko (another student of St. Andrews) honor this tradition with a run into the North Sea.
