Last week, QMAT attended the European FIB Network Workshop at the Helmholtz-Zentrum in Dresden-Rossendorf. Two members of the group, Dr. Maja Bachmann and Dr. Kent Shirer, presented their results of FIB-fabricated microstructures for transport measurements. Dr. Carsten Putzke, Dr. Chunyu Guo, Jonas Diaz, Xiangwei Huang and Amelia Estry each displayed posters discussing novel microstructuring techniques for strain, transport and resonance devices. We would like to thank all of the sponsors, organizers and participants of the workshop for the engaging discussions on new technologies and applications in the field.
