Marlène Leroux, partner at Atelier Archiplein in Geneva, was invited by Prof. Emmanuel Rey’s studio at the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) to talk about her work as an architect through a selection of projects. Post-carbon neighborhoods

Invited by the City of Yverdon-les-Bains Urban Planning Department, the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) represented by Prof. Emmanuel Rey and Ulrich Liman, gave a public lecture on March 12 at the Aula Magna du Château on the theme of post-carbon neighborhoods. Moderated by Selver Kabacalman, journalist for the daily newspaper "Le Courrier", the evening highlighted the theoretical and operational interest of the neighborhood scale in the face of climate challenges.

Study trip to Genoa

Education

The studio of Prof. Emmanuel Rey of the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) went this year on a study trip to Genoa, Italia. This extramural teaching activity offered the students the chance to visit architectural projects from different historical periods, highlighting the spatial and constructive opportunities offered by the urbanity in the slope. These various themes resonate with the issues directly addressed in the RELIEFS URBAINS studio.
