Our group studies quantum physics with the methods of mathematical analysis. The goal is to capture fundamental natural phenomena, especially those involving many quantum particles, with mathematical rigor. Areas of interest include the spectral theory of ergodic Schrödinger operators and random matrices; homogenization theory; quantum spin systems; matrix inequalities and quantum information theory.
