Applied Superconductivity Group organises 1st School on Numerical Modeling for Applied Superconductivity

The School focused on the analysis of two main projects that have been realized and tested or are presently under development. The project concerning LTS applications is the 11 T dipole magnet for the LHC machine. The project concerning the HTS is the YBCO fault current limiter for the ECCOFLOW Project funded by the European Union. Each teacher focused his contribution on a specific aspect of one of these two projects (electromagnetics, thermal, quench, mechanics).
