New Challenges in Hyperbolic Problems

Bernoulli Center, Lausanne, 10th-12th September 2025

The workshop aims at bringing together some of the most talented young researchers working on modern analytic aspects of hyperbolic conservation laws. The focus will be on the well-posedness and on fine properties of solutions for hyperbolic systems with large data and inviscid limits using “physical viscosity” approximations. Topics that might be addressed include fluid mixing, non-uniqueness, enhanced and anomalous dissipation phenomena.

The event will take place in the Bernoulli Center for Fundamental Studies.
