Award Ceremony

The contest entries were evaluated on the following criteria:

  • their creativity, clarity and aesthetics,
  • their visual communication of scientific / engineering concepts,
  • their effective use of Computational Thinking to formulate the solution that is visualized.

Each category was evaluated independently, with the best entries awarded a monetary prize (1000, 500 and 250 CHF for each category) and an award certificate. Selected entries will also be exhibited in a prominent place on the EPFL campus for an extended period of time.

The Award Ceremony was held on:

26 February 2018 at 12:15 pm in the Entrance Hall of the ME-D building.

Category winners gave a short presentation of their entries. The ceremony provided the opportunity to view all the entries in the static, dynamic and interactive categories.
