Resources

ACCES Member and Network Laboratories have available specialized state-of-the-art resources – both software and hardware – that enable effective use of Computational Engineering (CE) in their research and teaching activities.

CE is a highly visual discipline, a characteristic that can be exploited to extract detailed information from complex simulation datasets. This characteristic is encountered in CE both for research and teaching. For these purposes, ACCES has established three different special-purpose rooms, managed by the ACCES Coordination Center:

  • CoViz1 – collaborative visualization
  • CoViz2 – distance learning
  • CoViz3 – virtual reality

CoViz1 and CoViz2 also offer the possibility for state-of-the-art videoconferencing.
