Annaheim Mattille de la Fondation Marguerite

This prize was created by the Annaheim Foundation in 1996 – the new regulations came into effect in 2010. The Annaheim Foundation became the Marguerite Foundation. This prize is awarded to a high-level project of master devoted to bringing together life sciences and information technology (bioinformatics, bio-inspired systems).

BG – Système et développement durable

This prize rewards a project of master making a significant contribution to the design of systems in the field of sustainable development. The project should include one of the 3 dimensions of sustainable development : environment, economy or society.

Commune de Chavannes-près-Renens

This prize rewards a student who has made a marked favorable impression by his actions or personality (Bachelor or Master level).

État de Vaud

This prize rewards a project of master or a semester project with an original solution promoting rational use of energy (production problems, transformation, transportation, storage, logistics and the use of all energy sources.

Grenier

This prize, created by Professor W. Grenier in 1995, rewards a project of master or a semester project that is particularly original in its presentation mode (illustrations made with constructions, multimedia documents, films, demonstrations and other achievements), excluding the architecture section.

IBM Research

This prize rewards either a project of master or a doctoral thesis, undertaken with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, in order to promote excellent research in modelling and simulation in different fields of engineering and science (physics, chemistry, materials science, biology). The prize is awarded alternately to a project of master in odd years and a doctoral thesis in even years (more information on the Research Office webpage).

IGSO – Association Ingénieurs Géomètres de Suisse Occidentale

This prize rewards a project of master on a new aspect of geomatics or similar.

This prize rewards a project of master ora SHS project which has taken into account the potential benefits of a technical or architectural study of a region in its political, economic urban or socio-cultural aspects.
