What are the tuition fees?
EPFL being a public institution, tuition fees are relatively low. Students are currently charged CHF 633.- per semester, meaning CHF 1266.- per year (around 1350$ / 1050€). This fee is the same for all admitted students, independently from their country of origin.
An application fee is also to be taken into account when you apply for one program (CHF 50.- for holders of a Swiss diploma, CHF 150.- for holders of a foreign diploma. This fee doesn’t concern holders of a diploma from EPFL or ETHZ).

EPFL, in collaboration with partners, offers excellence fellowships to students presenting outstanding academic records. Every student has the possibility to apply to those fellowships, at the same time as they apply for an EPFL Master’s Program: an opportunity not to be missed!
The Student Affairs Service offers certain financing solutions to students in need of support. Please refer to their webpages for detailed conditions. However, for students coming from abroad, it is not possible to receive any scholarship of this kind during their first year in Switzerland.
