The Discovery Learning Laboratories (DLL) are dedicated, thematic spaces for practical lab sessions that are open to all sections that would like to integrate them into their curriculum. They are especially adapted for teaching to large groups of students, generally at the undergraduate level.
The practical sessions offered in the DLLs are not intended to be restricted to any specific section. Instead, they provide a means of bringing together students from different fields in new, cross-disciplinary teaching labs. Setting up such shared practical sessions will be the first step towards interdisciplinary teaching at the undergraduate level.
