SBB Businesstravel / SwissPass


Using the SBB Businesstravel, via the EPFL Ticket Shop, allows you to benefit from the Confederation’s fares (10%) discount for your professional trips abroad. Using the platforme SwissPass (via EPFL Ticket Shop or via the CFF app) allows you to benefit from the Confederation’s fares (10% discount) as well as from Supersaver Tickets and Day Cards for your professional trips in Switzerland. In addition, this procedure frees you from any manual claim expense.

The price displayed in the tool is the public price; the discount solely appears at the time of invoicing.

Access to the site

You need an Accred right (trough the person in charge of accreditation in your unit) to access to the SBB Businesstravel. For more information regarding your accreditor, consult the Accred website.

Special tickets sent by mail

Multiple-fare card or any other special non-nominative ticket can also be ordered through SBB Businesstravel, but are sent by post only. It is therefore necessary to allow at least 3 business days before receiving your order.

International mainline tickets can be ordered via SBB Businesstravel. For some destinations, the printing option is not available. In this case, tickets are sent by post or can be collected at a SBB ticket office. Allow sufficient time for this type of ticket.

Refund request

National tickets

Requests for reimbursement are made online: a flat-rate amount of CHF.- 10 is retained by SBB for each request.

International tickets

Request for reimbursement BEFORE the date of departure: from the SBB headquarters in Brig on 0848 111 456 or directly online.

Request for refund AFTER departure date: refer to the ticket refund conditions.

Train tickets ordered from the EPFL travel agency CWT are to be returned to it.
