The Research and Doctoral Awards Ceremony 2024 took place on:

at the Forum Rolex in Lausanne

During this annual event, EPFL presented the Research and Doctorate Awards to the laureates in recognition of their outstanding research work and celebrated all doctoral candidates who have completed their thesis within the year. This celebration provided a unique opportunity for graduates to gather with their fellows, faculty members, friends, and family to commemorate their incredible achievements.

Doctoral Awards

The prize is awarded by EPFL each year to two doctoral graduates who have completed a thesis that is particularly remarkable for its originality, the impact of the results (publication(s) in one or more international journals) and the presentation of the work.

Research Awards

These prizes are awarded by external donors to doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers and independent researchers in recognition of their exceptional research work in various fields.
