Investor Day

20 November 2019
EPFL Campus, Lausanne

Learn about EPFL’s many promising startups

EPFL is one of the world’s most entrepreneurship-oriented universities and is sometimes referred to as the MIT of Europe.

Our university is very young yet routinely ranks among the top 20 engineering schools worldwide. And we are home to a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem flush with initiatives and backed by generous government support.

A number of our startups have recently gone public or been acquired by the likes of Intel and Apple. But the most visible impact of our startups should emerge in the coming decade.

Our first Investor Day was held on 20 November 2019 as part of our year-long 50th anniversary celebration. Attendees had the perfect opportunity to learn about many of our startups – from budding enterprises to late-stage companies.

We hope you haven’t missed the chance to be part of what Forbes calls “a serious competitor to California for technologies, people and funding that will power the world’s fourth socio-economic revolution.”
