Dans un monde bouleversé par une pluie de bulles défiant les lois de la physique, la ville de Tokyo a été enfermée dans une gigantesque bulle où la gravité n’y fait plus foi, et est déclarée comme zone interdite. Pourtant, certains enfants devenus orphelins suite au phénomène continuent de vivre illégalement dans l’ancienne capitale nippone désormais en ruines, où ils participent à des combats de parkour risqués pour leur gagne-pain quotidien.
Hibiki, un adolescent talentueux ayant la capacité de sauter entre les bulles, croit un jour entendre un chant émanant de la Tokyo Tower et décide de découvrir son origine. Mais lorsqu’il grimpe celle-ci, il tombe dans les eaux en dessous. De justesse, il est sauvé par une mystérieuse jeune fille nommée Uta, et c’est suite à la rencontre avec cette dernière que les secrets derrière l’événement désastreux ayant changé leur monde se révèlent enfin.

In a world perturbed by a rain of bubbles defying the laws of physics, the city of Tokyo has been enclosed in a gigantic bubble where gravity no longer holds sway, and is declared a no-go zone. However, some children who have been orphaned after the phenomenon continue to live illegally in the now ruined former Japanese capital, where they participate in risky parkour fights for their daily livelihood.
Hibiki, a talented teenager with the ability to jump between bubbles, thinks he hears a chant emanating from the Tokyo Tower and decides to find out its origin. But when he climbs the tower, he falls into the water below. He is narrowly saved by a mysterious girl named Uta, and it is after meeting her that the secrets behind the disastrous event that changed their world are finally revealed.
