Architecture with the left hand

Current society gives utmost importance to appearances, over and above essences, The result is the crisis we are submerged in, a crisis of concepts that in turn has brought on the crisis of the economy. The importance given to appearances is present in the field of architecture, where we see an emphasis on representation working at the expense of ideas and concepts. What matters is the slogan, the marketing, looks? to the detriment of in-depth research on the project. A direct consequence of this superficiality is the decline of architecture as a discipline. This deterioration has its foundations in calligraphy architecture, a kind of architecture more suited to graphic designers because it is visual but requires no structural or technical knowledge. Opposed to this idea of architecture as merchandising is the architecture of values that zealously seeks to stamp an added value on a work, ultimately giving society more than it asks for.
