A PhD student position is available in the laboratory of Elisa Oricchio at EPFL-Institute for Experimental Cancer Research in Lausanne (Switzerland). Research in the lab focuses on the genetics of lymphoma and its translation into new therapies. We combine genomic analyses of human tumors with functional in vivo studies to assess the role of genetic lesions in lymphomagenesis, disease progression, and treatment response.
The ideal applicant should be interested in cancer biology and willing to learn molecular biology and cell culture techniques. Good programming skill and a background in bioinformatics will be preferred. In this position, you will join a dynamic team of cancer biologists and you will be able to work with high-throughput single cells analyses and high-throughput chromatin conformation capture data.
The candidate should send a motivation letter and the CV with the name of three referee to Dr. Oricchio: [email protected]
